Fans of the lovable cartoons created by the Hannah Barbera studio need to come to the Laurel County Public Library for a lively and informative program on Monday, October 18th at 6:30 pm.
Special presenter Dr. Keith Semmel of the University of the Cumberlands will lead this
multi-media presentation tracing the careers of Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera from their start with MGM to their studio’s legacy and influence on animation today.
Some of the H-B classics that will be included are: Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, and Johnny Quest.
The program is free and open to the public.
