Thriller A’cappella (Video)

We found this awesome YouTube video from François Macré, a french musician.  He has remade the Michael Jackson song “Thriller” that is recorded using only his own voice.  Using 64 separate a’cappella tracks (with no instruments, synthesizers, beatboxes or samplers) Macré has created an amazing version of this world famous song!

He lived up his voice using a little reverb and chorus effects and “looped” some of the vocal tracks he recorded.  He created this non-commercial project in his home using only a laptop, microphone, headphones and webcam.  Macré claims it was on artistic challenge during his free time.

We thought the final video was pretty amazing!  Granted, it is a bit hard to get past his french accent, it deserved to be shared on our blog.  Enjoy!
